Take a leap of faith, he could. Be spontaneous, he should. But one thing he wasn't going to do was do what Ewan was hinting at, if the chair covered in a sheet and a heavy layer of dust that he pointed at was anything to go by. He was definitely not going to jump on it and develop a dust allergy. Shaking his head, his eyes flitted instead across the room, where a screeching record player was situated, and scurried over to it.
"Come take a look at this," he urged Ewan with a grin, his undying curiosity kicking in and taking over. The record player looked as old as the castle itself, though he doubted they had such things back then. "Who do you think left this on? Clearly not a ghost..." Which meant someone else must have been there! But what he didn't know was if that someone had been there recently or, for all he knew, that thing could have been playing for days, weeks, months, years. |
