Text Cut: Professor Curtains
He did glance up as the Slytherin greeted him, but only for a moment. Then it was back to the order forms. "Good morning young Patrick. I hope you are well." Why he called some students by their surnames and others by their first names was really rather random. Some students he would call by their first names one day and their last names another.

There was a small announcement he had to make before the class could begin. "Those of you who were with us last year may remember a lesson in which you were asked to come up with one rule change you would like to see implemented at Hogwarts. There have been some technical delays in making it official, but I am proud to announce that Headmistress Hawthorne has selected one of the most popular proposals you guys came up with to be officially implemented into our Hogwarts rulebooks. By order of Patrick Dooley, from this day forward all students shall be allowed to have casual Friday’s." Patrick was in the room with them right now. Hopefully they were all pleased with the rule change!

Hearing Professor ask if he was well he nodded, and assumed the lesson was about to begin. Grabbing his notebook and pen, he still wasn’t a fan of quills, they felt odd in his hand. Patrick’s head snapped up. His decree won. “I’ll be dipped.” he mumbled under his breath. He wanted casual Friday’s because he was always so tired of wearing his sweater and slacks by then. To get that kind of decree passed, he was going to become a legend at Hogwarts.

“Wow, thanks Professor.”
his cheeks tinted a bit hoping that not many students would draw attention to him.

Listening closer for the first question, Patrick had more of a muggle writer he loved. On the one hand he really loved poetry, and Shel Silverstein was one of his favorites. But man, could Rick Riordan write a good book about the gods. Raising his hand he waited to be called on. “I would have to say Rick Riordan, he writes about Demi gods and its interesting to see a muggle write about the magical beings out in the world so casually. The muggles don’t even know those kinds of creatures exist.”
