 Arts TRANSPONSTER!
Anna the athlete was heeeere, woooooo! That was literally the most exciting day ever after her races over the summer because she got to FLY using her OWN - BRAND NEW - BROOM! AAAHHH!!
The third year jogged her way down to the pitch, her AMAZING broom firm in her grip, and smiled brightly and waved at all that were there. Ok, this was probably more exciting and fun than the races as those people there were all her friends one way or the other, while she only met the people from the race on the day. Being with friends was always more fun, so Anna was super excited. YAS!
She did some dynamic stretching, with some squats and JUMPING repeatedly before sprinting on spot for a good number of seconds. Another good few high jumps before shaking her arms and legs to releeeease the tension. aklfjsdkSDKJF SO FUN ALREADY!!
Anna continued with some shorter jumps while listening to the instructions Abra was giving and nodded a few times. AW, his voice broke! HEEHEE, how adorable! Anna chuckled as she continued to jump, her ponytail bouncing from one side to the other behind her.
!!!!TIME TO FLY!!!! Best time EVER!
The Gryffindor immediately stretched her hand over her broom. "Up!" And it zoomed up to her hand. HEEHEE! As she was mounting it, she heard Chase say he was trying out for chaser. "Chaser Chase!" She said, giving him the typical Meriwether cheeky grin. "I'm trying out to be a chaser too!" She told Abra, looking at him to make sure he had caught that before she kicked the ground and took off.
Honestly, flying was literally one of the best feelings EVER! If all lessons could be done in the air, Anna would love them all. But alas.
ANYHOW, she was there now and it was time to race do some laps and warm up. Two laps with no bludgers coming at them!? Sounded like the perfect time to test her Thunderbolt 6000 again. She was in love, did they know? SHE WAS. HER BROOM WAS AMAZING!!!
Ok, she knew this was just a warm up and not a race, but she couldn't HELP it. This was too FUN. And her broom was too AWESOME! So evidently Anna was about to fly as fast as SHE COULD because !FUN! And also because she could. Thunderbolt 6000, hellooooo!
Hi, Zoryn! Bye, Zoryn! She sent the older girl her cheeky grin as she past her with a !ZOOM! on the first lap. She kind of felt bad for Zoryn having to use a rubbish school broom, but... she was having way too much fun. Sorry not sorryyyy! She did dodge the light weight bludgers as well as she could and she wasn't going to lie, that was some good workout already, right there.
She was obviously LOVING it already.
When that part was done, she zoomed up to the middle of the pitch to meet Abra and wait for the next set of instructions.
