| *Tryouts: Part 2* • HuffleStud • Knight of The Zodiac • Manly Beard-Grower • Cicatrice de Harry • Kirk had made sure to give any recent joiners the sup nod. Nope, it wasn't too late. Little Chloe had some questions, "That's awesome, Chloe. We'll be doing some sequences that involve working as a Beater, Chaser and Seeker. If you wish to stick with one position during the tryout that's perfectly fine." That was pretty cool though, to hear her family's history with the sport. He only had two of his Uncles that were deep into Quidditch. "I play as Keeper so that position won't be as incorporated. " That was noted in the flyers, right? Anyway, how were these positions going to be incorporated? Well, they would find out soon. It seemed traditional to keep a little bit of mystery until then.
After giving the command to do stretches he did a few leg stretches, back twists, squats, planks, a few push ups and neck rolls. Took only a few more minutes before he felt good to go. Everyone seemed to be quite comfortable around each other, this definitely would make their chances higher to win the Cup with such unity displayed. "Great job, guys." Now then, "Alright, so now that we're loose let's get steady onto the brooms, we'll be doing some flying around the pitch. You can go in either clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Just like last year Mister Baldvinsson did put a limit to the height though so you can't fly off from here." Not that he could imagine anyone wanting to do that during a try-out, but hey, precautions.
"So I will set the timer and you'll be flying around for a few minutes at the sound of my whistle. As soon as you hear it again you'll know to fly back down toward the middle where we will make the use of the Quidditch balls. Now let's get to flying." Polishing off the new whistle Kirk got, he gave them a few moments to mount their brooms. "On my whistle, you can kick off.. Three.. Two... One.." *TWEEET*
--- OOC: Weeeee, Part two! Alright, now you can fly around the pitch clockwise or counter-clockwise. The Quidditch pitch is estimated to be 500x80 feet, give or take incase you need the vision. There's no limit to how many laps you do, so long as you remain in the air. One post should suffice, but you're welcome to post as many times, just be sure to label them either way. Next post will be in at least 24 hours from this. |
