Oh, thank MERLIN that Juni was there, because Chloe wasn't sure what Quidditch stretching looked like. She'd tried emulating Jessa, but the older girl was moving fast and by the time Chloe mastered a stretch, Jessa moved onto something new. With Juni there, Chloe switched to energetically lunging. Just like her best Juni.
If Chloe could do anything, she could do it energetically.
"Chaser?" Her eyes cut to Juni, just to see if that was a reasonable thing for a fifth year starting only just now to try for. Even Reserve would be acceptable, as long as she got to do practices with everyone. Wouldn't that be so super fun? Everyone flying together? Playing Quidditch?
Chloe paused in her lunges and resumed stretching her arms and shoulders. Did this actually help? Or was it just another way for Captain Kirk to tell who belonged?
