Well... It was obvious that Beth was okay because she had gotten up by herself and Dorian awkwardly lowered his outstretched hand.

"My dad used a color changing spell when i first got Ammonite from Diagon Alley two years ago" he said to Beth as it was her question. "I looked it up and the incantation is Colovaria but it is a pretty advanced spell so ask someone older" he did not want to be responsible for the poor creatures or objects...whatever this girl wanted to color.

Completely oblivious to Lydia's blushing as he was too busy taking Ammonite from her hands, Dorian opened his Ravenclaw robe pocket and put the toad inside. What he did take notice of was Lydia's babbling and the third year raised an eyebrow at her. The only thing he had gotten was that her name was Lydia...
