Captain Kirk certainly was an intimidating sight. I mean, for a first year, Ewan was tall. I mean, for his age, 5 ft 4 was tall! But Kirk couldn’t be far off 6ft. Ewan listened carefully, ready to start. Stretches? Hmm.. I can do that. Briefly, he introduced himself to Kirk before turning to continue with his instructions.

As he turned, he heard a familiar voice beckon him over. “Hey Chloe” giving her a small smile and wave, he walked over to her and started to stretch, a faint burn running down the backs of his legs. “Honestly, I’m not really sure where I’m going to play. I just thought it would be a good chance to have a go! I mean, from what I’ve read, I don’t think seeker is for me. I mean look at me!” Chuckling now as he gestured up and down his body. “They need to be a little more... agile? Maybe keeper or beater would suit me more.”. Slowly, he sat down on the soft grass, his legs out stretched in front of him. One by one, he went through his usual stretches. This wasn’t new to him, after all, he’d played so much sport back him it was something that came naturally. Stretching forward now, he grabbed his toes with ease. Mentally went through the importance of good stretching, after all, he didn’t want to get injured and pull a muscle.

*Starts chuckling*


Like pulling a muscle is his biggest worry. How about staying on a broom?!! “So... I’m guessing you play quite a bit then back home?” Seekers were important, were they not? With a new appreciation, he looked up at the girl now from the floor. Despite her name dropping some famous Quidditch player, he was impressed. Playing a lot of sport back home, he’d often admire other people who could play to a high level.
