Scared, frightened, nervous. Olivia was all panicky with the talking paintings around the sixth floor corridor. One weird wizard was getting burned at stake still managed to laugh like a mental. Below the portrait was written, Wendelin the Weird. The 'Weird' suited him. She was already briefed by her mother about the talking portraits but she was more frightened by the moving staircases which Vivian notified her about. That's also the reason why she convinced the Head Girl to meet her at a floor closest to her own common room.
Making her way at the right spot she's going to meet Vivian, another painting called her by her house. "Hi." Olivia managed to respond avoiding his eyes. Oli's face was turning all white. Nobody's around. She was only twelve years old. She wanted to live longer than twelve. But when the man started talking enemies and potions into one sentence, something glowed in Oli's eyes. Though she was still scared. "I'll take note of that, Sir." Before sprinting away.
FINALLY, she saw Vivian. Oli was a wee bit sheepish about being late but she was relieved, Vivian found her. Or she found Vivian.
Vivian absolutely had no idea why she had given in to Oli's request to meet up at the sixth floor corridor, which was flights of stairs away from her own common room down the dungeons. However, her nagging feeling of not wanting to leave someone hanging had gotten the best of her, so the blond forced her lazy bum out of her usual couch in the Slytherin common room to meet up with the first year.
It didn't take her long. As a first year, Vivian was the adventurous type and occasionally got lost in random corridors. She did create her own staircase guide back in her second year too, but the Head Girl could only assume that it was tucked away somewhere in her trunk... or possibly left at home. Who knows? It had been years, but she had already remembered the moving staircase routes by heart.
Nodding in greeting at some of the portraits, Vivian went towards the younger girl and smiled a bit. "
Hi," she said. "
I hope I didn't keep you waiting. It was a long way from the dungeons." Sort of, but it was all fine.
