While she adored her dormmates, her quidditch teammates were a different sort of great memory. Which, in her case, extended to England's Under 17 team too, where she'd gotten to share memories with Henry, Zinnia, Daisy, Genny ... older students that she might not have had the experience with otherwise. "Any particular position you're wanting to try?"
She didn't know her own talents unless she tried? Well...she guessed so. What the older girl said really did make sense, but she was also a captain, and Quidditch probably came naturally to her.
"Maybe," was all she said, as she looked out at the pitch another time.
"So do many people of my size try out?" she asked. She had a tiny frame and didn't pack a lot of pounds. She was energetic, though, and could move around quickly.
She smiled about making memories with her teammates.
"That's kind of what's sealing the deal for me. I need to get out more and bond with my housemates more. I should have done that a long time ago, but better late than never, right?" she replied. She had just seemed like so much of a little kid before, and the whole social life didn't stand out to her as much then as it did now.
"Umm...I think Chaser," she said, and she started to say why, but then she decided against it. If she made the team, she didn't want the Snakes to know all her secrets. Maddie was super fast, and she thought Chaser would be a great fit for her!
