Nettie didn't usually get nervous - but here she was, holding a school broom and practically shaking in her Quidditch clothes. It didn't help that Kirk, the Quidditch captain, was SUPERRRRR GORG and very distracting. It was making her extra anxious. What if she embarrassed herself in front of him and didn't make the team?!
Still, she had to remind herself as she walked onto the pitch that she had experience, which would hopefully give her a leg up on her classmates. She smiled at each of them as she walked into the pitch. "Hello!" she greeted them - and just in time too, it appeared. No sooner than she walked up did Kirk also showed up, talking about the stars and all that, just as he had at the feast. Huh. So he was like REALLY in to Astronomy then?
Stretching. Got it. Easy enough. She took a deep breath and mimicked the captain's motions as she got started. She knew she would feel better once she was actually up in the air.
