Completely relaxed now, he smiled now. “Aha really? I find that when we don’t look our parents we act like them, when we don’t act like them, we look like them”. Still smiling, he slowly opened his eyes, looking at her face now. Switching topics almost without warning, “Does it really matter If you can’t play it? Playing music is all about enjoying it. You need to feel the music”. Almost as if to demonstrate, he hopped up onto his feet and grinned, his hands playing a light, quick melody. “Although, I guess, if you don’t enjoy it...it can be tough”. Shrugging, he finally stopped playing. Walking over to her now, slowly so not to scare her, he held it out to her. “Maybe all you need to do is find the right thing?”. He was pretty sure she would turn down the chance to try his Uke but how could he pass up the opportunity to pass on music to another person? Especially another Ravenclaw? If anyone could pick up an instrument and become a natural, it would be one of his house mates. His friends? Maybe. With a slight swell in his chest, he waited in anticipation.
