Skylar was up flying when the potential teammates started arriving. Which is to say that she was flying to get things situated for tryouts. Things that would be revealed in due time, but for now, she'd perfected her disillusionment charm on what she was prepping in the skies on the Quidditch Pitch.

The seventeen year old glanced down at her wristwatch only to realize she was officially LATE with what time she'd said she would be on the pitch to await the players. And by late for her, it meant she was ten minutes early for the tryout start time, instead of fifteen minutes.

A quick glance at her charms told her things were in working order as she flew down to the ground where three potentials were waiting; Nathan Hale, Kye Atwater, and new first year Beth Greyvson. Nathan ... yes, she'd heard all about him wanting to tryout. Vivian had been ranting and raving about it for a couple weeks now, something that Skylar had TRIED to console the best friend in saying he was kidding. He was just trying to intimidate her. Wasn't he? But as evident by his appearance here with a shiny new broom, perhaps he wasn't?? Why was he doing this again? He didn't show any interest at all in Quidditch last year? Perhaps his keeper girlfriend had talked him into it? But why seeker? He knew Vivian had one more year left at Hogwarts...

"Kye! Hey," she greeted of the roommate and veteran player first, before her gaze glanced over towards the other two. "Beth. Welcome!" She wondered slightly on the girl's abilities, but figured she'd be able to see that in just a short while. And finally, she turned towards Nathan. "Nathan. So it's true then?" She said curtly, looking him up and down, sighing.

"Let's start by setting your brooms down and doing some arm circles while we wait for more to arrive," she said, demonstrating for them with some large and small circles.

ooc: we'll begin shortly (probably about 24 hours). Reminder, if you wish to be considered for the team, you must complete the survey and post in tryouts at least once before May 18th. Being on the team last term is no guarantee for this term. The following team positions are available: 1 keeper, 1 beater, 3 chasers, 1 seeker, and 3 reserves. So if your character really only wants one position and it gets filled by someone else, there's no shame in saying they can be a 'reserve beater' or a 'reserve seeker'. Even though we won't actually be specifying individual reserve positions, this can be something discussed IC with the Slytherin Captain. Any questions, ask me or the Flying Official.
