"Good evening all snakes, welcome to a new year at Hogwarts!"
Patrick casually strolled into the Great Hall. He couldn’t believe he was actually a Third year already. How had he already hit three years at Hogwarts? Glancing around he noticed the scared faces of the little first years, he remembered being in their shoes, freaking out. He was trying to spot some of his friends but hadn’t found any of them yet. The train ride had been uneventful too, he had snoozed the whole way.
Plopping down at the table with a loud stomach growl, where was the food. He had walked so slow he figured he would have gotten to eat right away. All he wanted was food, He could really go for some fried chicken, but no one made it like mamaw Dooley. He missed that already.
Whipping his head up at the sound of a voice, he realized the Bloody Baron was greeting the other Slytherin students.
“Hello Sir, how was your summer?” Patrick had finally gotten used to the whole ghost thing at school and was no longer weirded out by them.
gurgle, gurgle, growl
Looking down at his angry stomach Patrick really wished the Headmistress would say her speech and let the students eat. He really regretted not eating on the train.
