Really, even though they were sisters Cordelia was an alien to her. Taking a confident step the newly sorted Slytherin girl glanced around the table looking for at least a friendly face. Truly she wanted to run straight to the Staff table and give Laurel a G I A N T hug, because clearly Laurel was aaaaaaaamazing and deserved it…and pfft, she was practically her aunt.
Sliding into a free spot on the bench she turned and watched the rest of the sorting and that was when it happened. Quinn, Quinnybear this was going to be hard. Impossible even. Her best friend was the farthest she had ever been from her in all of her life.
SOMEONE HELP.
please let Quinn have some nice housemates she thoughts before glancing at everyone. She’d manage, but Quinn she wanted to make sure that she was okay. Glancing around it was the first time she noticed the one thing that was missing – food.
WHERE WAS THE FOOD? #iamconfusion
Lydia was a bit intimidated by how many older students there were at the Slytherin table. Surely none of them wanted to talk to an ickle firstie like her. Then Lydia spotted a younger girl, probably around her own age, staring at the table in confusion. That was when Lydia noticed it too. Where was the food? She was starving!
"
Um, shouldn't the food be here already? What's taking so long?" she said, just loud enough for the girl sitting near her to hear.
With a bit of a start, Lydia realized her own plain black robes had been trimmed in green. Green had never been her favorite color, but she couldn't help but admire how nice it looked with the black. Yes, maybe this Slytherin thing wouldn't be so bad. She would make it work!
