The bewildered look on Charlie's face immediately turned into a smiley one as he realized what it was for. A get together? Can he come?! Like...a party kind of gathering, right? "That's cool, a welcome back kind of party for you guys right?" Sometimes, it sucked to be the new kid. It made him miss Ilvermorny, but he swore not to dwell on those feelings. He was in Hogwarts for new friends and new adventures! There was no way his parents will get all the fun by migrating and working in the land of hope and glory.

"Nope! I'm one of the new kids in town so this is all new to me," he said pointing to himself with his thumb. "I'm Charlie, by the way. What's your name?" Was she a Gryffindor or a Hufflepuff? So far he already met Andi and Ethan and he was on the lookout for Gryffindor or Hufflepuff students. It was kind of hard to tell who belongs where at this point.
