Having put off heading towards the Prefect's Compartment long enough, Skylar figured she might as well head there. She already knew who the new Head Girl was, as well as the new Female Hufflepuff Prefect. So per her own calculations, the only people she had yet to discover was the two new Gryffindor Prefects, as well as the Head Boy. Although she had suspicions, of course.
The Slytherin Captain, with her pet carriers in tow because no way was she leaving them unattended although she could have dropped them off with Apollo, slid the familiar compartment open as her blue-gray eyes landed upon ......
"Ronan?" She had reservations of her fellow seventh year, but she had to admit he WAS super loyal and protective, given that he was the ONLY one to stand up to injustice two years ago. But yet there he was, sitting there, with the counterpart to Vivian's badge affixed to his shirt. "Wow. Uh ... Congrats!"
Oh and look! Stasya was here too! "Stasya, congrats!" she exclaimed, at the younger girl who was probably taller than her now which said something considering she didn't think of herself as being short
And wait... Abey? As in Junia's cousin? What happened to Zoryn? Not that Skylar was complaining, because Abraham Botros was much better company than Zoryn, any day, given he'd sat at her house table every opening feast for the last four years... But Skylar was needless to say . . . surprised. Only for the briefest of moments, because she WAS aware of his quidditch skills and that meant that Professor Baldvinsson was also. The man didn't miss a beat. "Welcome to captaincy, Abra." She beamed of the younger student.
And she'd have congratulated Hattie and Vivian, but they already celebrated, so to each of them, they got a small smile, as she claimed the seat next to Vivian, of course. Now where was there other Slytherin Leader? She wondered vaguely if Flynn had gotten his badge revoked, given certain situations the best friend seemed to find himself in over the summer.... but no... he'd have mentioned that, wouldn't he? Given how much he enjoyed the power and authority? Unless that was WHY he found himself in those situations?
