Hearing her say that he didn't compel her resulted in a very intriguing reaction from the Lion Cub. Part of him was glad that he didn't compel her to track him but then again he was slightly disappointed too. Though her business proposition had him thinking. "Well if you do make it a business then perhaps you need a partner or you should at least owe me some fortune as I was the catalyst for the invention of your company." He opened up the candy that he had just purchased and began noshing. He chewed and then swallowed, pausing (because he had manners), before replying, "What? Not broody enough for you?" he said with a rare genuine smile.
"Don't stop talking now," he said as he squared his shoulders more beginning to look like the cat that had just asked their owner to stop petting them and then gave a shy sly look demanding more attention. "Oh now you're just trying to get on my good side, Beth."
Next level stalker stuff? Well he hadn't met to insinuate that.... Errr... Think Chase think. Well would you look at the time... He eyed the nearest exit. No... Too far. "Well would you --" he paused himself. "I don't know... You - errr... Never mind."
