" Have ya got my candy in that bag of yours, Sis?", he asked as he craned his neck and made a grab at her bag so he could rifle through it himself.
After he found his favorite candy he looked up and said outright, " I don't reckon I'll be goin' out for my house team... I'd rather be top of my year... At least in Potions.. " . He was a boy with goals of greatness and he wasn't going to be distracted by sports.. At least not his first year.. But there were seven terms to complete, so he had plenty of time to crush it on the quidditch pitch..

Her tone remained even, calm (for once) and only a hint of mild curiosity in it. Nothing more. The sister might even believe that, but there were always ways. If even half the stories about Hogwarts were true, it was a lot easier than Rylee wanted to think go unseen and unheard. Kids have died attending Hogwarts, you know? The was even a Hag hired to teach here once that ate a kid!
If Rylee was in Gryffindor, then Quinn decided that maybe she might add that house in the Absolutely Not list with Hufflepuff. "Both my parents were Slytherin, so I am quite certain that is where I am going to be sorted."
Quinn scoffed at the Quidditch question. Please. "I have no intention of voluntarily subjecting myself to other people by joining a sport." And even if that hadn't been the dealbreaker it was, getting all sweaty and being forced to wear those unsightly monstrosities of a uniform, Absolutely Not. It was bad enough having to wear those gaudy school robes.
Quidditch was never on her plans. Her mother was also never part of Quidditch during her terms at Hogwarts. It was not a priority but definitely worth a try. She has plenty of time to think about it before it actually happens. Reese quute summed up Olivia's thoughts when he spoke about Quidditch too.
Olivia turned to look at Quinn when she was talking about getting sorted into Slytherin and
ALSO the disinterest with Quidditch. Finding a common ground with these peeps. Good. Olivia was flustered when she saw Quinn 's cheeks turn from pink to red.
"Are you ill?" Oli asked the Slytherin-to-be full of worry.
