He spotted it and flipped it open briefly wishing to scan some of the articles before reading the specific one on the Cannon Player. Pretty sure the store shopkeepers would rather he buy it before he read it.

Mark shut it very quickly and stuffed it under his arm as soon as he heard a voice creep up beside him!

The young boy jerked his head to the side to see a Girl who must be near his age. "Really?" He looked back at the Magazine rack and scanned it once more if that maybe there is some sort of indication of a 3 for 1 deal. Which would be great because he saw 2 more magazines he wanted to get. "Oh Secret Deal." She said it was a secret deal. "Do you know the secret word then?" That would be mighty helpful.

Secret word? Quinn bit her lip, whether to keep from smiling or in thought wasn't clear. Poor kid was way to trusting....she almost felt a bit guilty. Almost.

"Oh uh....I only heard it in passing. I think it was one of those American terms. Like Wampus. or Voodoo or something...Just try giving the clerk all the american words you can think of....one of them has to be it, right?"

She looked the kid up and down. "So, are you going to Hogwarts? Someone as gullible as him would be quite useful and fun. "What's your name?"
