For what felt like the millionth time, Esme wondered what she had done to be so lucky to have Olly as a boyfriend. Not only had he made her a wonderful dinner, but now they were going to watch a movie together, and it was one that she knew he wasn't as fond of as she was. But he was going to see it with her anyway.
After putting the movie on, she sat with him on the couch. Hopefully he wouldn't fall asleep right away, but it was okay if he did eventually. He must be tired from all of the work that he had put into everything tonight.

Esme has something big to tell Olly.
Still feeling shocked due to a recent development, Esme made her way back to the apartment that she had shared with Olly since graduation. She had just been to see Juno and... well, now she knew something that would change their lives forever.
She just needed to get over the shock of it before she could REALLY knew how she felt about everything.
That, and she needed to tell him. Obviously. Sighing, she looked around and didn't see him. Maybe he was working in his studio? Or had he gone out somewhere for a bit? Maybe he was hanging out with one of his friends, or at the store... She would see for herself in a moment. "Olly?" Hopefully he would respond. |
