Ace dashed around the castle like that rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, except he didnt have a pocket watch and wasnt as loud about it. lots of lose ends to tie up, lots of messages to send out--because apparently these people have never heard of summer vacation and placement waits for no lackadaisical student anyhow-- and just lots of things to weep quietly about since he's leaving this amazingness that formed 7 years of his life.
The Curly Top zoomed in on probably the last time he would ride his hoverboard around this hallowed halls, just in time for the Headmistress to start her speech. And among the smorgasboard of emotions that he had that night, a small tinge of regret as he looked up to see the Great Hall adorned in Slytherin colors. he would've liked to have the Gryffindor crimson and gold be waving about one last time, his gift to his house. But alas its not meant to be.
And as soon as the food appeared he bolted for the seat closest to his girlfriend Vi and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, Mel got a quick fist bump and to the rest of his housemates a bright if a bit pensive smile for them all. "Second place this year Gryffindor. Not bad. Good effort everyone!" and with that he gave them all a round of applause.
