If there was one thing Kirk was noted on doing in the Great Hall it was watching the enchanting ceiling, today was no different, except that he wasn't really eyeing the stars, it was overcast after all. Besides that, he couldn't help thinking about next term.. His final year... wow.. taking NEWTs... Quidditch.. and Mel... hmm.. she was graduating now. He was toying with one of his occupied fingers while in thought. Sure, they had the whole summer and breaks to look forward to but... he sighed.

Was it time to eat yet? Kirk had his ears turned off temporarily with the conversation going, but some distraction would be nice now.
