Although, in her current state he assumed that she would have found ANYTHING and EVERYTHING awesome so who knew what she'd think about it tomorrow. Not that he had doubts really. Hopefully she was allowed to bring it along to Brazil, though.
Oh no.
The giggle scared him MORE than when she said that she didn't want him to get upset. This was literally the worst way to spend his end of term feast. Cameron could feel his chest constricting even further as he leaned in to listen to what she had planned. And that was BEFORE he had even heard just what her plans were. Ironically enough, though, what she was saying sounded more like Jessa than anything she'd said in the past 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately. Which didn't exactly make him feel any better, though.
The opposite really.
Taking her hand, Cameron leaned back to meet her gaze, eyes widened a little."Are you sure?" That was a dumb question, surely but it was the only thing he could think of right now. "................let me...come with at least?" Even though he could think of about three million things he'd rather be doing on his last night here at Hogwarts before the summer holidays. See, even Cam was seeing it the way she did. The Professors were definitely looking forward to their summers and why wouldn’t they? Summers were a time to unwind and rest while you get ready for the fresh torture in September.
Jessa fixed with him with a certain look, finding his question rather curious. “Of course I’m sure! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since my dad started checking up on me. It didn’t take long to make the decision and it’s not something you’ll be able to talk me out of.” All this she said with a smile, her tone never rising or growing defensive in nature. It was light...airy....but resolute. It hadn’t escaped her, even with the potion that a part of Cameron may have hoped to tag along to convince her otherwise but the build up had been a long time coming and she was having none of that. “I’m not sure you’d really wanna come or have fun. You can if you wanna but I think you’d wanna enjoy your last night at the castle a whole lot more.” She certainly knew she would.
