As Maddie strolled to the Badger table, she tried to convince herself that second place was just about as good as first place. Oh, how she wanted that house cup, though. THOSE SNAKES. Weren't they the ones supposed to be misbehaving? Or were they just that ambitious that they had to win? *sigh*

She strolled to the middle seats, sat down, and then changed her mind a second time. She went ALLLLL the way to the front, sat down, and grinned up at the head honcho. "HIIII, HEADMISTRESS!" she said, waving at the lady.
