So much for a lovely weekend trip. She was glad she was here though. She was among the only students that weren't possessed, and that could actually do something. So it was probably a good thing she was here.
Hattie sighed in relief as Viv moved, even though she didn't even say anything. But she was moving, and that was something. She slowly pulled her towards the professors. But just as she was doing so, suddenly they were all tied up. "Oh..." Maybe she shouldn't go there. She stopped dead, still holding onto Viv's arm. She wasn't letting her go anywhere.
And now headmistress Hawthorne was here, and things seemed to be going on. So at least, was it going to be over soon? Please. With more
Professors here, that had to mean they'd get control over the situation.
If only Vivian was in the right mind and had the proper senses to bask in the situation at hand, she would conclude that this entire weekend field trip was a disaster.
Unfortunately, she was still chanting her way towards wherever Hattie was bringing her. She knew it was Hattie, for sure, but she just couldn't stop talking. There was an internal scream building up inside her, but she also could not find the breath and will to let it out. Her mind felt all fuzzy and useless. Despite having no control over her senses, she knew she heard a crack but wasn't entirely sure if that made things worse. Someone apparating in front of a large group of muggles?
What an entrance from their headmistress, whom Vivian recognised but couldn't acknowledge. It made no difference to her facial expressions. The blond was still staring blankly ahead. When Hattie halted, Vivian stopped as well, like a tiny pup following its master's actions.
But all of a sudden, with things happening all around and that bag Professor Stewart held erupted into flames, though Vivian wasn't aware, the prefect finally felt herself coming to her senses. As if she was removed from some kind of trance, she blinked a couple of times before she was able to bite her words back. That was when her hands started shaking.
And now she was beside Hattie, not Sky or Kye anymore. However that didn't matter, because what caught her eye that most was the number of professors present. How come the headmistress was here already? "
When did they arrive?" Vivian asked Hattie, still visibly confused.
