A smirk curled on Noble's lips; the closest to a smile the man ever seemed to get. "I try my best, just for your benefit," he answered, apparently satisfied with his measurement of water and straightening up to add it to his cauldron.
He looked over to the Gryffindor's efforts, but Zoryn's acting with the crouching down did nothing to fool him. Noble could see from here that the measurement was off, and he vanished it was a light flick of his wand."Try again." There was an indignant tone in his voice. If she kept being so negligent, they'd be having remedial classes right through until she graduated her NEWTs year.
...maybe he should start charging her parents tuition fees. Could quite the nice little side earner by the end of the year.
"I read for many reasons," Noble answered her question. "Including corresponding with your parents." Sure, he read for fun too, but going on her measuring, she needed to keep her full attention on her brewing skills right now.
