Daisy was feeling a bit nervous considering she hadn't been in the Potions Laboratory to create a potion on her own. She had her plant-based oil in the form of almond oil which she had gathered from the plant, she had some lavender oil for fragrance from the plant, her lye and water mixture which was provided and a cardboard box lined with wax paper. Daisy also had her cauldron, dragon-hide gloves, wand, quill and parchment with the basic instructions for her Herbology assignment.

Walking to the logbook, Daisy took out her quill and filled in her details.

Daisy found a vacant station at the front of the room and got set up in order to make her very own soap. She donned her gloves, having heard that lye mixture can be dangerous. Granted this lye was mixed with water but she wasn't going to take any risks. She slowly poured the lye mix into her cauldron. Next, she removed the top of her almond oil and carefully poured that into the cauldron followed by the lavender oil.

She gave a quick flick of her wand at her cauldron saying firmly, "Sape Jago!" Within moments a nice little bar of soap had formed. Daisy took off her gloves and grabbed the bar of soap and placed it in her lined cardboard box before securing it slightly so the soap didn't fall out.

Daisy cleaned her gloves, cauldron, vials and the area she had used to make the soap using a non-verbal cleaning charm and packed her items away in her bag carefully. After making sure there was nothing left for her to do in the Potions lab, Daisy departed so she could make the face mask.
