Honestly, he was surprised that no one else had mentioned it. "I think his real reasoning was to get to either Harry Potter or one of his friends and that the 'vengeance' reason was just a cover. After all, Harry was a Horcrux too, maybe Voldemort actually figured that out before anyone knew he had....?" Okay, that information was way more than Professor Curtains had asked for and probably wouldn't be discussed at length, though he hoped it would, because it seemed like that would be an interesting debate to have.
