She wouldn't come right out and say it, but anyone who looked at her face could not possibly ignore the shining crown that she had charmed to change from pink to purple in flashing lights.

Laurel sat and stared through the glass at the underwater aquarium while she sipped on her freshly brewed tea and just let her mind wander. After a while with no sign of any sea creatures turtles or otherwise she pulled out the romance novel that Imogen had practically forced on her since she had attached it to her latest letter.

Opening the book, Laurel started to read. She hadn't been reading very long and had just finished the first chapter when a voice cut into her reading zone. Looking up from the book Laurel first took in the crown and then the girl sporting it. Smiling warmly she said "Good morning Zita! I thought I'd come down and see if I could catch a glimpse of a sea turtle. Have you ever seen a sea turtle?" Gesturing to the crown on the girl's head she beamed. "Happy Birthday Zita! You've turned 15 years old now right?"
