Not brewing a potion in a potion class was a little disappointing to Harriet, but what they were actually doing in class was pretty exciting. She liked food, but getting to alter the senses, and make things taste different was super interesting too. She hoped next time they would be brewing though. That was her favourite bit of the lesson. But she did make some notes on the topic they were studying, just in case it came up in her NEWTs. Though she kind of doubted it since she was sure she'd need to actually brew a potion in her exams next year.

Beaming, after doing her notes, the blonde got up and went to collect her potion. She took a few beakers with her, so that she could set up a few different taste-altering potion samples. She levitated two of them beakers, and carried the other two over to her bench. She placed them down, and then began working on the first one. She was going to do this one sweet to sour. "Gustum Dulcius Acidulus" she said, whilst completing the wand movement over the beaker of potion.

When she had done that, she took a sip of the potion, making sure that she had had enough to make the potion work. Perfect. Now to see what happened. She ate a spoonful of honey, and pulled a face. Ooh. That was very sour, and very strange. She never though honey would taste like that. It was super weird. Deciding she wanted to try this a bit more, she picked up some dark chocolate, to see how that would work. It wasn't as sour, but she wondered if that was because it was more of a bitter taste. Hmm. Interesting.
