 Quick question Professor!
Kye watched the slight madness unfurl, and wondered if she should perhaps forget about the parchment that was currently in her bag... Maybe she would be rethinking that after all. Kye had to wonder if any of this had to do with Valentine's Day... It didn't have to be as awkward as it had been made out to be honestly. And why didn't he just ask someone he liked instead of the open invitation?! Of course, that was 'old news' now, but it was still bothersome. Kye watched as Ronan left the room, and decided she needs to get back to her experiment.
Okay she had tried the chocolate alone, and wondered if she was supposed to try all of the food before using the berry or if she should do one at a time. It seemed more reasonable to try the food as it first, she was afraid that the berry would last longer than just a bite. She decided to eat the things she recognized... a grape, the very slightly sour taste gushed after the first bite... a pickle, the sour making her mouth water immediately... Next a small bite of lemon which would probably have tasted even more sour if she hadn't just had a bunch of other things. Nevertheless, her nose had that tingling feeling, and she was ready for a bit of sweet now.
"Sir? Is it alright to drink water between tastings?" Kye inquired, as her nose finally stopped hurting. She would really like to swish some around to cleanse her palate. She dared not without his permission today, in case it messed up the experiment somehow. |
