Daisy glared at Ronan as Professor Noble kicked him out of the classroom. As she headed back to her desk with her miracle berry and some lemons, pickles, applesauce and grapes she caught Emmalyn's eye and whispered, "You okay?"

Daisy decided to try the foods without the berry first in order to work out their different flavours. First, she tried a tiny nibble of the lemon and pickles and she coughed due to their sourness. Next were the grapes which to her had a taste that wasn't sweet but wasn't sour either. Finally, she had some applesauce which was the sweetest of her foods.

Now onto the berry which she popped into her mouth and bit into the pickle. This time Daisy didn't cough and there was an amazing sweetness to the food, almost like candy. She next tried a slice of lemon which had the taste of lemonade. The final two foods had increased sweetness as well.
