By the looks of it, she'd gotten her point across well enough and it looked like the girl now had a few things to think about. Good. There was nothing worse than a bright eyed, bushy tailed new YATI disillusioned by all the glamour that supposedly came with being an Auror, who possessed no real knowledge of what they were getting into and if she ended up seeing her over on Level 2 in a few years, she would hope that it was after a bit of careful, honest thinking.
"Once you get into it, though, there's no other job out there that can compare." Lex couldn't see herself doing anything else. How did she wake up one day and NOT have some dangerous mission off somewhere that could mean not going home? It just didn't seem possible.

"Take a few brochures. Let us know if you've got any questions. No better time to ask them."
Just look how accommodating she was being. She'd be sure to reward herself later. Talking to a bunch of kids who may or may not even end up in Law Enforcement later one wasn't exactly how she liked to get her blood pumping.
