The Office of Immigration oversees lawful immigration to the United Kingdom and is responsible for the enforcement of immigration policies. Individuals who wish to become citizens submit their applications through this department. This department is also responsible for asylum applications, naturalization, permanent residence applications, applications for Visas, and tracking Visas.

The Immigration Lead Special Investigator investigate reports of illegal immigrants, and when they identify them, works with Magical Law Enforcement to properly extradite wizards and witches who are in the country illegally. The Immigration Lead Special Investigator’s job duties also include researching and analyzing applications, petitions, and supporting documentation interviewing petitioners and applicants to assess credibility; and denying or granting petitions and applications.Understanding of Immigration Law is required for this position. The ability to speak a second language is helpful, but not required for this position.

It is Consulate Personnel's' responsibility to help those who are traveling abroad to England from other countries. There are 10 consulate positions: Africa, Asia, Australia, Japan, Magical Countries, Mainland Europe, North America, Scandinavia, South America, United Kingdom. Responsibilities include issuing and checking Travel Visas and wand permits as required by other countries. The ability to speak a second language is required for this position.

This position is responsible for detaining any person(s) (without arrest) who is not a British Wizarding citizen, to investigate whether they qualify for entry to the United Kingdom. When a ministry employee transfers from another ministry Immigration Officers make sure that those employees orientate well in the new country/ministry by monitoring them for culture shock and ensure they have a place to live and are settled in, with their new position in the ministry. Immigration officers also responsible for making ministry employees who transfer are aware of any new laws that may affect them or of laws that they might not be aware. . Understanding of Immigration Law and the ability to speak a second language is required for this position.
