Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Precision was her specialty.
No, really, most of the time up in her lab it was the difference between say a silky smooth doll and one that had patches of skin falling off intermittently--or a proper necrosis potion and some diluted itching potion.
Jessa levitated a plant over to her cushion, a lavender one as it turned out to be.
If she already knew the spell....would she still have to practice it? Again, Professor Myers wasn't a stickler and it wasn't likely he'd pitch a fit over her casting a spell she'd previously learned without putting in the practice of her classmates but the hesitation and anxiety were real.. Funny how this wouldn't even have been an issue just a couple months back.
The 15 year old looked about the greenhouse trying to gauge how far along in the practising her classmates had gotten anyway.
With that many of them at it at once--and all at such different stages, her skipping on ahead to the actual thing might have been less noticeable. Timing it right, the Ravenclaw drew her wand. Much like the Professor had demonstrated, she flung her wand arm forward on the first half of the word then pulled it back as if fishing on the second half, uttering, "Natatraho!" As she did.
Pulling back, she watched as the liquid flowed from the plant in a trailing motion behind it. Where was this going again? Did she leave it here floating? Was there a jar? This was probably why paying attention in class was such a good idea.
Nice one, Jessa.
