Mischievous Niffler Dusk had fallen over the Hogwarts grounds. Most students were either studying in the library or mulling about in their common rooms. An occasional student could be seen wandering around and the prefects were performing a final patrol.
It was two and a half days since the end of the lesson in which Charles had asked all the students to write a decree for Hogwarts. During that time he'd had ample time to review all their suggestions and to insert notes on half of them with his own commentary. And now, on this weekend evening, he was on his way to the headmistress's office to inform her on the plan and show her the decrees so she could pick one.
He arrived at the stone gargoyle and muttered the password. Of course he would announce himself before barging in. Professor Curtains never barged in. |
