If she wasn't sure if he truly knew her his next sentence made her really know and actually took her by surprise, "You really think so? I mean I was an only child growing up and haven't really been around babies that much, well other than the zoo. Cami doesn't count since she was older when I met you." Making sure she added that in in case he tried to use it. Though the look on her face showed his words made her heart melt and her head think about being a mother even more. Could she really be good at it? Would Digby really want children? "I'm just nervous he really doesn't want them and is just saying it to make me happy. If that's the case.." She didn't want to end that sentence because if that was the case, would he leave once the baby was there? "Oh I don't bring them home anymore, he wasn't a big fan of them taking up my time at home." She blushed at the thoughts that came with why he didn't like them there. [b] "I was happily surprised he was okay with getting Broc, he even picked him out."[/]b She loved their puppy so much. "I had literally NO CLUE what I was doing when I decided to try and adopt Cami. But she was mine, so I knew it was the right thing to do. I got the hang of it after a while...although I still wonder sometimes if I know what I'm doing," Javi admitted with a smile. Did anyone REALLY ever get the parenting thing totally DOWN though? He knew his parents kept telling him that they still didn't know what they were doing, and he was 30. He was pretty sure that was to make him feel better, though. "Well if that's the case, then, find someone who will have kids with you," he said nonchalantly with a shrug. Seemed like a simple fix to him. He bit his lip and looked away after that, though, knowing that might be kind of a touchy subject and wasn't actually THAT simple. After all, he didn't really have a choice to go at this thing along. Karina had made that choice for him before he even knew about Cami. "I'm sure he isn't just saying that, though," he told her quickly with a blush. "I mean, I haven't actually met him but from what you've told me, he's making an effort. I don't think he would say that if he wasn't ready," he assured her. Cami, meanwhile, was now picking those random wildflowers from the grass, getting pollen alllllllll over herself and her new dress in the process. SIGH.
