This was not the first time Derf had visited the potions laboratory this term but it WAS the first time he was doing so in the company of one Abraham Botros Jr.. Moving away from his Gryffindor to check the logbook, Derf picked up the quill to sign them both in. Somehow, between the two of them, perhaps today would be the day that the fourth year finally successfully brewed a potion properly. Well, save for that one Polyjuice Potion but he had had his dad's naive assistance on that one otherwise it would have failed miserably - more so than procuring a Levi Kenning with blonde hair at least. His feet could hardly remain stationary on the floor, tapping and rocking to and fro on his heels as he somehow found the focus enough to finish up step one.
