And he was very serious about it. They'd just have to find another way. And actually- the Bloody Baron seemed approachable after, you know, you went past the unapproachable facade he had. Which he wouldn't know how to do, as he wasn't even a Slytherin.
Daehyun blinked in surprise when she'd told him about being a ghost at Hogwarts, before his lips had stretched into a grin. "You plan on haunting the castle?" The idea sounded quite appealing, actually. To sneak through walls and scare ickle firsties... much like he'd been scared to death before eventually getting used to the ghosts roaming around the castle.
"Mmm," he hummed, deep in thought at Shera's words. Would they notice if it was the Room of Requirement or not? "Would be fun to find that we'd actually been in there already," he mused, puffing his cheeks in annoyance. But, well, he supposed all good things came with patience and hard work, so that's something they'd both have to work on.
... lovable?
Blink, blink.
Shera had probably said it as a joke, but Daehyun- "I have," he muttered under his breath, suddenly feeling his cheeks getting all flustered. Of course he noticed how lovable she was, why else would he enjoy her company so much, when he actually wasn't all that fond of human interactions? Nervously clearing his throat, he focused back on Berry, who reached out to him, so he complied by extending his hand to allow the bowtruckle to move. "I'll have to take him back," he said regretfully, since he didn't have the right place to keep a bowtruckle, and his trunk was just a big no-no. "But I hope we can find him again."
"I don't think that I've met Sir Nicholas..." Shera mused, trying to recall the ghosts that she had met up to this point. The name was familiar, and she did know it belonged to the Gryffindor ghost. That was all that was coming to mind though.
"Yeah... I understand why you aren't volunteering," she commented, giggling at the thought of Daehyun awkwardly wandering into the girls bathroom to speak to Myrtle.
Myrtle was definitely off the table.
"Definitely! Like, you just get to continue on with your life. Minus food... that would kinda be a downer..." it was a well known fact to anyone who had spent a bit of time with the young Ravenclaw that she was food motivated. Also sleep motivated whenever her energy levels fell. So maybe a ghostly existence of never sleeping or eating wouldn't be that great. But hey, there would be so much that would make up for that fact!
Shera nodded in agreement.
"It'd kinda be funny too. Like going somewhere and a room being missing... or do you think if you went there for the same purpose it would show up exactly the same...?" Because in that case they might never notice.
Unless they both found it independently.
Which would be interesting.
Shera found herself lost for words as Daehyun spoke. She knew that he was right, the bow truckle would have to be returned... it was better for it. But in like three seconds she had formed an attachment to it, and she couldn't imagine what Daehyun was feeling. Or what she could really do in response to what he was feeling because of it.
"We'll definitely be able to visit him," was what she settled on, smiling as comfortingly as she knew how.
