Although, "safety" was an interesting concept here at Hogwarts.
He chuckled. "Maybe there's an underwater quidditch equivalent." Maybe? "Do you think they play chess?" Could you even play chess without things floating away? "I bet they'd have history class. What about travel? Do they stay in that lake their entire lives?"
"Yeah, that's so true," Felicity agreed, nodding as Slate spoke. She didn't take her eyes from the window though, watching the plants sway with the currents. "Surely they have to, like, evaluate the danger, or whatever, otherwise they'd have to get rid of them." How many students - kids, really - had snuck into the Forest and returned unscathed?
An underwater Quidditch equivalent made Felicity smile, and she turned back to Slate. "Maybe they have really heavy chess pieces, and have to play in a cave." You know, so that the tide didn't knock them over, and they didn't float away? As for travel, she mused over it, fiddling with the end of her hair. "I can't imagine they do... I mean, the lake doesn't seem so big. It would almost be like staying in the castle forever."
