Rylee had plenty of spirit, which was very much important for a Gryffindor, in Zoryn’s opinion anyway. They weren’t just gonna be the best team in skill, but also in spirit. That’s why they deserved to win. If anyone else won, they’d be sooooo boring about it. A win for Gryffindor was like a never-ending party. Who wanted that!? Certain not Zor and definitely not Rylee by the looks of her. “My day was AMAZING too,” still riding on that high, y’know? She probably would be forever. Just sayin. Or at least until their next match.
Seeeee, it wasn’t even just a handful of them who had spirit. It was ALL of them. Or maybe she had just chosen the most hype people to be on the team. Maybe that. Giving Théo a look of absolute delight, she replied “easiest money I’ve ever made.” HA. No offense, Julie, but you had it coming.
And then Abey happened. Upside down. Abey happened to be upside down.
And y’know what, it wasn’t weird at all. Or maybe it was and Zoryn was just desensitized? There wasn’t really a way to tell. So instead of saying anything, she just laughed and gave him a thumbs up. If he could continue catching snitches the way he did at the match, he could hang upside down all he wanted.
Then her PARTNER showed up and Zoryn wanted nothing more but to jump on his back and celebrate. After the game had been announced over, she was tackled by Faith before she had a chance to say anything to Callum Kettleburn. Still fun, but also she wished she had gotten a chance to praise him ’n their teamwork. Buuuuuuuut unfortunately Zor didn’t jump onto his back just yet ‘cause Beau came sprinting in with an announcement that totally caused a splash in every single one of her previous thoughts.
“Ew,” she crinkled her nose, admiring him for his honesty but also… Ew. “TMI, dude,” she laughed. Man. Zoryn loved this quirky, conglomeration of a team.
Was it time to start? It was time to start.
“Okayyyyyy soooooooo… First things first….. WE FREAKIN’ WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Not that it was any news to them, but they hadn’t celebrated yet as a team, Y’KNOW? Aside from on the field shenanigans. But couldn’t they just celebrate, like, FOREVER? “I’m SOOOOOO proud, we just gotta keep playing like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be GOLDEN!” Though, ideally there would be more quaffles thrown through hoops the next time around, y’know?
“If we’re gonna stay winners, we’ve got to keep practicing LOADS. We’re playing Hufflepuff next and they won their match against Ravenclaw, so we have to be ready. They’re a good team, but we’re better.” … In her opinion. “SOOOOO I thought it’d be fun to start warm ups a little differently today!” Both as a celebration, but also to showcase some of the brilliant talent they’ve got on the squad.
“Olivia’s gonna lead us in some YOGA, get us all LOOSE for when we’re up in the air.” Flexibility was important. That game yesterday was enough to prove it. “You’ve got the stage, O!”
