The Slytherin gazed momentarily at the bare stone wall before reaching into the rucksack of supplies he had brought along.
He dipped a paintbrush into a small pot of bright red paint and got to work, moving the brush in swift, concise strokes. He normally wasn't the artistic type, but it seemed something had changed tonight and it didn't take long for the red hawk to become visible in the strokes he was making.
Satisfied with his work, Max dipped the brush back into the red paint and got to work underneath his creation.
This time, they were words: END THE STRUGGLE
His job complete, Max packed his rucksack, slung it over one shoulder and wandered drowsily back in the direction of the Slytherin Common Room. And in the Basement Corridor Quote:

Once she arrived at the middle of the corridor, she turned to face an empty patch of stone wall. She pulled the brush out of her robe pocket and methodically dipped it in the bright red paint. Her left arm lifted into the air and she put brush to stone wall. Her strokes were bold and the image began to take shape.

The image of a hawk slowly spread across the stone as she continued to dip and stroke her brush. Her energy and resolve never faltered in her work. After the full image of the hawk was complete, Emmalyn took a small step back and selected a clear space below to finish her task. With steady hand, she painted EXPOSE THE INEQUALITY
After completing her mission, she thoughtlessly started back towards the Hufflepuff dorm, her footsteps making the only sound.
