Annnnnd things looked somewhat orderly? It was really hard trying to get an entire pitch together when she was maybe a twelfth of it’s size, y’know? Plus, the gryffindor team had to know to expect imperfection at this point. Zoryn wasn’t one to worry about small details, like, EVER.
Speaking of small (ish), EMMA! Zor welcomed her a HUGE wave as the younger gryffindor made her way towards the pitch. Dude, Zoryn still felt bad that she had to be a reserve. If it was up to her, Gryffindor would have TWO seekers. But Mr. B said that was against the rules, which it technically was….. But couldn’t they make NEW rules? Or no rules? No rules would be WAY more fun. “Sup, Emma!!! How’ve you been?” Aside from the gryffindor win, ‘cause that was AWESOME for everyone.
Next to arrive was Théo, which was a little surprising. He was decently reliable, but not one to show up super early to things. Zoryn was impressed. “Tayooooooooo,” she called out. “Are you as STOKED as I am!?!?!” Yesterday’s win was THE GREATEST THING EVER. She beamed at Emma too, then noticed Rylee join their crew and gave the little one a waggle of her finger.
“HI!” Aw, she was SKIPPING. Just like Zoryn’s heart when they WON. Had she mentioned that yet??? How great it was to WIN??? “How was your day!?” She asked the younger girl just as one of their star chasers walked up. “You’re good! We haven’t started anything yet.” Wink, wink. NUDGE, NUDGE.

Zor threw her hands up and SPUN around, taking in all the fresh air. This was the life, people. This was THE life. “Should we wait a few minutes for the others?”
