Alright time to put confundus into action. Zae was comfortable with that spell, she wasn't soo sure with Obliviate. She thought that spell was more for the older students. Now time to focus on her maze. She took her mouse of the maze so he wouldn't be too familiar with it. "Im sorry buddy I got to confuse you but I am sure you will find the cheesecake." She felt bad but this was harmless play. The mouse would be fine. She got her wand at the ready and let the mouse smell the cheesecake and she placed the cheesecake in the far left corner of the maze.
Zae saw the mouse smelling in the air for the cake and she placed her mouse in the maze and it was already running. She pointed her wand and said, "Confundo!" and did the wand movement of flicking the question mark shape at her mouse and she saw the instant reaction she was hoping for. The mouse seemed confused and was bumping into the walls. The critter had no idea where it was going. She beamed and was pleased with the results. She knew the charm would go away with time as the Professor explained to her.
