"Hi Hattie! Hi Daisy!" Bel greeted two more of her teammates as they arrived too. She exchanged big grins with Derfael and then waved little greetings at Tayo and Juniper in particular. A few others too but they were soon lost in the growing crowd.

He did notice the team spirit in the Hufflepuff team and it made him proud to see it. Quidditch - strengthening bonds between students since forever. All sentimental gush aside, the first Ravenclaw player stepped inside the room.
Wasn't it just great that they all had their own numbers? Bel was especially glad to see the reserves had numbers too, that was great! Having her name across the back of her very own Quidditch jerseys was ripper too of course. She was used to having her name on the back of shirts for competitive events, but having them for Quidditch plus her very own number, was new and exciting. Bel was quick to notice that the numbers were position related too. All the seekers were sevens right? Cool!

"Thanks heaps professor!"
She gathered her jerseys excitedly.

He shuffled over and gave one large trunk a little kick of his foot (because he was too lazy to bend down). "There's standard equipment in this trunk; gloves both fingerless and not, goggles, shin and arm guards. Please help yourselves." Which translated to; I'm too lazy to hand out all of this individually. Also, please don't shove each other. "Depending on which position you play, you need different things; Keepers: There's a selection of protective head and chest gear in that corner." He pointed over his shoulder. "Beaters: Please select a bat which you will use for the season, there behind the Gryffindor Captain."

... Go nuts?

"Ask if there's any questions." He said, allowing himself to sit down on one of the benches. He had to sit down, to be ready to hand out more jerseys for arriving students. It wasn't an act of laziness.

As the students began digging through the Quidditch gear, he opened a bag of peanuts.

Oh and a cape too?! Great! And other equipment?! That was great! Gloves... goggles.... arm guards... shin guards.... Bel started to rummage through the offered stuff. It was all basic of course, not being custom, but she didn't mind given she didn't have ANY Quidditch gear of her own so far. She picked up some goggles and put them on. Hmmm.

....

.......... Hmmmm.

"Professor........ am I allowed to just keep wearing my own goggles? My motocross ones?" They just FELT better to Bel. She was use to the field of view with them, and how to keep them clear and clean.
