It explained why she was so in love with magical creatures, he supposed - he felt that even HIS cold, black heart would really like creatures if he'd grown up only knowing the standard muggle ones, and not really realizing how many cool magical ones actually existed.

She couldn't help but laugh at his question, how hadn't that come up before. "Yes I am a muggleborn. Both my parents were muggles, was the biggest shock of their life and they didn't take it well."
She thought of the memory for a moment. "Being an only child I was all they had, so I was going to school, playing sports, and just being the golden child, then they found out I was magic and everything changed. They got worried they couldn't keep the secret so we moved and they cut off pretty much all our family. They are the best parents and they did it for me,
but sometimes it just sad to think they lost all those years with their parents and siblings just because of me."

Though he probably didn't want all of that information and she smiled to show it was just a story and nothing else with her emotions. "The school I went to was a great primary school. I had a great time there. I think Cami would love it as well." Her eyes fell on the girl again and she was excited for her. There wasn't anything more exciting than school for the first time.
