Rylee's eyes turned to the door right away as it opened and Haraldur stood there before. He didn't look upset or angry, this was good. "Hello, Mister Baldvinsson," she greeted with a bright smile jumping up onto her feet as she spoke. "I hope I'm not bothering you but I just had a question about the Quidditch teams and I thought it best to ask you... so I know for sure."
After a brief little pause she spoke again. "Do those on the team that are listed as Reserves get to use our own brooms now... or do I still have to wait until next term?" She knew first years weren't permitted to bring their brooms from home but maybe being a part of the team made a difference in that matter?
It was definitely getting colder outside now that summer was long gone, but wearing his large fur coat as usual, he felt quite warm. Plus it was a loooong walk up to the Divination tower. He could put it off for a few minutes. The older man left the door ajar and shuffled over to sit on one of the benches right outside the Hut. He listened to what she had to say and gave her an ensuring smile. "Being part of the Quidditch team does have its perks. Since you are a proud member of the Gryffindor Team, congratulations by the way, you have special permission to bring your own broom to school." He said.
"I can write you up a permission slip for you to show if any older students give you a hard time." He nodded. "I can bring it to the next lesson if you'd like?"

Jessa looked at the bench a moment, considering how inclined she was to take a seat. As it turned out, not very. There was an underlying restlessness that had not made itself known until she'd stopped moving and sitting would be the worst under those circumstances.
"No thank you, Sir. I don't think I'll be here very long." And would much prefer the pacing she had fallen into. "No, no no, there's no problem just......I couldn't help wondering.....and I know you already worked hard to make the decision but........could I be...reconsidered? For Beater maybe?" She hadn't said what she'd wanted when she'd signed up, but the tryouts had been pretty eye opening for her. "I tried getting here before anything sat too long--and I'd be happy to try out again, just, I thought I'd ask."
Anxiously, she fidgeted with her fingers. "I don't think I'd make that good of a chaser, and I don't think I wanna be responsible for my team scoring or not scoring--and I know it's a team effort and I'd have two other Chasers to help but the anxiety alone would kill me each game."
Haraldur put down the clippers and listened to her requirement. When she was done, he frowned, deep in thought.
"Well..." He said, looking out over the Grounds as he hesitated and thought aloud. "I gave you the position of Chaser because I think you would do really well. Miss Primeaux and Miss Durant are both very strong Beaters." He looked up at her, shrugging one shoulder. "I might be willing to reconsider some of the positions on the Ravenclaw Team if you absolutely want me to. I put together the roster which I believe to have the best chance at beating the other Houses. However, Quidditch shouldn't be a source of anxiety or stress."
He grabbed his broom and the clippers and stood up from the bench. "Miss Durant and Miss Primeaux are the Beaters currently. If you believe you would do a better job as Beater and one of the other girls would be better suitable as Chaser, I am not opposed to you bringing this up to your Captain and the rest of your team. But if they don't want to switch from Beater and you don't want to continue on as Chaser, that's what the Reserves are for and you might trade with one of them."
She could always be the stand-in Beater if she only wanted that position.
"There won't be long until Ravenclaw has its first official game. Would you be willing to try as Chaser? Perhaps it will feel better once the first game o the season is over?"
