He was always up for trying new things, but then, where Oliver was concerned, he would have been happy to go almost anywhere. Practically all of Drago's now-precious free time was spent with his boyfriend, and he would have it no other way.

Sitting down next to Oliver - close, but still allowing both of them the elbow room that changing footwear would require - he started unlacing his own shoes and gave what he could see of the bowling alley an appraising sort of look. "No, never. I've read things here and there about how muggles play-" Play? Do? What was the right verb for bowling? Dragomir's English was practically perfect, if he did say so himself, but sometimes the words still felt awkward even as he spoke them. Times like that he had to consciously stop himself from slipping into the far-more-comfortable Bulgarian. "-but I've never done it myself." He turned his attention to his feet, now in the bowling shoes, and started lacing them up before looking up to grin at Oliver. "First time for everything, right?"
Oliver really hoped that his feet didn't smell. Nah, he'd showered that morning so they should be fine. Though he was sure these bowling shoes probably weren't the best smelling footwear he'd ever put on. Oh well, it would be fine.

"I don't think this is quite how the muggles do it." Olly grinned over at his boyfriend as he got his shoes off and started lacing up the bowling ones. "I've never done it either, so I guess we'll both be learning. I can't imagine either of us are going to be very good at it." He laughed a bit. Maybe this hadn't been the best idea. Though a night of bad bowling might be entertaining in its own way. "Unless you have some sort of natural bowling talent."

By that point Oliver's shoes were all the way laced up so he got to his feet. He turned back and offered his hand to Dragomir to help pull him to his feet. No, it was not just an excuse to take his hand. Definitely not. Except yes, that's exactly what it was.
