Having a maze to herself would be beneficial right now anyway. That meant that she didn't have to wait for her turn. She quite liked that. It would also help her concentrate more if she didn't have to talk to anyone. The blonde smiled, standing up and going to get a small bit of cheesecake. It looked nice, and she kind of wondered if she should get herself some. But she'd had a snack before class, so she decided against it. Didn't need too much food.
She went back to her bench, putting the portion of cheesecake into a corner, before going to get herself a toy mouse. She was glad it was a toy, because she really did not like proper mice. Arriving back at her table, she sat down, and popped the mouse into another end of the maze. Now to get it going. She poked it a little, and it began going around the maze. Perfect. Now to hope it didn't get lost!
Rylee had been here the entire time having given her Head of House and Professor the usual bright smile and happy greeting she always gave. Having taken a cup of cocoa (which clearly wasn't the mint flavored kind) and a little cheesecake square to a table she had sat quietly for the time being. Food and drink were the best way to keep her over active self calm for a few precious moments.
So it was with her legs swinging back and forth between bites of cheesecake and sips of cocoa that she listened to the professor explain the use of the little mice mazes on their tables. They would be directing the mice through the mazes?! Awesomeness! Maybe whatever they learned today she could use to help Neptune her rat go through mazes she created for him! Wiggles.
Rylee rose to her feet and got herself a little piece of cheesecake from the table before going to get a toy mouse. A purple one of course, which she had cupped in one hand against her chest so it wouldn't get away. On the way back to her desk however she paused spotting Hattie working all alone. That didn't look like any fun at all.
"Hi! Can I work with you?" Cue bright smile.
