"Good morning, Professor Marchand." She greeted the man and tried not to yawn in front of his face because... you know, it's not polite.
Did the Professor serve hot cocoa? Because she could smell it from here. What a coincidence, Diandra was thinking to get a cup of that warm sweet chocolate-y drink before she headed to the classroom. Taking a cup of the drink, she decided to join her fellow Hufflepuff. "Hi, Bel. You don't mind if I sit here, do you?" She asked the Australian girl. Quote:

She was glad that Diandra had sat with her. Not because she was worried about being alone or upset about the prospect of nobody wanting to sit with her, but because, yep, group work. Group setting. All of that. And there were two more seats at their table cluster so probably they would fill up too. Actually a bunch of her own friends weren't here yet, not to mention potential new friends.
She smiled at Diandra and then studied the maze some more, expression interested. Mice were going to go IN there, right? Alessandro walked into Charms and noticed immediately that the desks were pushed into groups of four. They were to be expected to siphon themselves off into little groups. He quickly scanned the room for familiar faces, friends, but came up short.
Besides Katy. But her table was already full and he didn't want to embarrass her in front of her friends. Or minions. It was hard to tell with his cousin.
So instead of sitting with familiar he settled for the comfort of yellow. He passed the Charms' professor with a tight smile and briefly waved his gloved hand in a simple hello, "Professor Marchand. Good morning." And then he sat with his fellow Hufflepuffs. A pair of older girls.
He wrung his little hands under the desk he took and, then, politely said, "Hello. I'm Al."
